sorry im taking a break,

hello sorry im not ignoring anyone but we had some devestating news last thursday, my mum has been diagnosed with cancer,,, again,,, it has been 10 years since she had breast cancer, and we all thought all was well for the future, but she has just been told she has bone cancer now, and it has come as such a blow for the family,:-(

so please bear with me, those who know me will know this is not an easy time,,i will pop in when i can, but mostly i just want to be there for my mum and sisters,, god didnt bless me with strength of character, but im pulling all i have to keep the family moving in the right direction,,its heartbreaking seeing them all so distressed,,, i just try not to think of anything, my head cant realy take it,,,

please be patient if im not in touch for a while,,,

Happy January,

Well, its a new year full of new promises and new opportunities,

I dont do new resolutions, as i can never keep them,

But if i did it would be to keep in touch more this year,

Unfortunaltely however i realised there were hundreds of neglectful people on my list, some of whom added me and have Never talked to me, grrr i wont be another number on their list, and alot of others who havent been in touch or replied to my notes for over a year, so i had a massive cull session :-D, lol i was like a woman posessed!!! hahaha not difficult to imagine eh!!,

I went a bit OTT and in my haste may have inadvertantly deleted some people who would like to be in touch now, sorry if you are one of those people, but if anyone likes they can add me again, i just had to have a lil spring clean on my page!,

well, for fear of waffling thats all realy,

hi, so sorry ive not got chance to let everyone know individually,

well, im away from monday to fri evening in a lil log cabin in wales,

so i wont be around next week,

Goodness how a year flies eh!, i cannont believe how eventful this last year has been since i joined buzznet, 26th of January to be precise,, in the space of only a year i have met some truly amazing freinds on here, some whom im sure will remain good freinds for life!,:-)),, some of you in particular have supported me and shown such loyalty recently its sometimes quite overwhelming what i have done to deserve such caring freinds as you!,

thankyou so much from the bottom of my heart to my precious shivvy, who always has my hand, devoted freindship, and a place in my life,, always and forever â™¥my lovely lynnie who has shown such love, support and unquestioning loyalty â™¥, i dread to think where id be without either of you!, Thankyou also to monica for always making me smile so much â™¥:-)), ellie for your kindness and support â™¥, claire for always being so sweet and adorable to me â™¥:-) michelle for making me smile and for caring â™¥ and my amazing sister Jo, for never giving up on me all my life, even tho im sure ive tested everyones patience over the year!â™¥,lol, and theres so many other people who have touched my life in the past year, who i owe a great deal to also, thankyou for never judging me, desparing of me, or at least not telling me!,lol:-D,,

yeah, im back!, :-)

well im pleased to see no one missed me!, well ok, maybe one or two, but its reassuring to know if i fell off the face of the earth no one would notice!,,

anyhow, im back for the time being wether you like it or not, lol,

my holiday was just amazing, i knew Rhodes was full of wonderful things to see and do, but nothing prepared me for how blown away id be with the place!, its just so awesome, everything is so massive and beautiful, and every building is full of detail and colour,, huge palm trees line the streets and the sheer immensity of the palace of the nights completely takes your breath away, the narrow winding streets of the old town is full of character and charm at every turn, wonderfully welcoming tavernas and shops beckon you in from the searing heat. Mandraki harbour is full of gorgeous yachts of the wealthy, and in the outer harbour the most gingantic liners youve ever seen dock for pple to sample the delights of the town.In contrast the new town is modern and cosmopolitan, however the number of little mopeds here detered us from staying too long,, but only after id done a little shopping of course! :-) lol,,we did have a little hiccup on ariving at the airport tho, and were told the hotel was overbooked!?, we were devestated and shocked, we had an alternative hotel for the first week, which on arrival i must say it was just gorgeous. we stayed the first week in a very splendid 5 star exquisite hotel with the most magnificent views from our balcony, ( first balcony photo), and the hotel staff were so supportive and made us feel so special and welcome, apart from the matter of having to get a taxi each day into Rhodes town the first week was just wonderful, we transfered on the saturday to our origionally booked hotel, which although super, wasnt quite as amazing as the first one, so we certainly didnt feel upset at having had a week in an alternative hotel! :-), this one was in the heart of the city and was just perfect for walking to everywhere, which we did everyday !, tired lil legs, lol, but it would be daft to come this far and not see and do everything the island had to offer!, we didnt want to miss anything, and packed everything into 14 days, somehow!,:-), including a lovely slow boat ride to lindos to the acropolis, omg, it was so high, hundreds of steps to climb!, we slept well that night!, also as compensation for the move we had all drinks included free of charge for the second week!, so it would have been rude not to take advantage right!,lol, ahahh yeah we were polite! :-D,, we met some amazing people and made new freinds,, there are so many things im sure ive forgotten to mention here, but as you can tell we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our holiday, and have come home with some fantastic photo's and memories im sure we'll treasure for a lifetime,,

oohh im missing yu all so much, and pop on when i can,, just keeping yu updated,, im on antibiotics for my chest infection, so fingers crossed after the weeks course ill be rearing to go again! and back to my old crazy self! :-D lol,, ,, im just trying to regain some strength at the minute for myself, a member of my family is recovering from an operation and needs support too, and work is ,,, well insanely busy,, and ive got 3 days at work next week to get 4 weeks of work done, before i go on holiday,, cause im so indespensable i dont know how theyre going to cope without me!, :-DD lmao!! ahahahha, well, slight exxageration,, but im sorry im not here to chat like normal,, but dont worry ill be back, and just as daft as ever when everything settles down!, and yeay, ill get some holiday snaps posted when im back,, :-)),,

you all be good now, and take care of each other when im not here so much,, no fighting!, and no messing about on my page! :-D lol, hahahaaaa,, as if you would eh! hehee,,
